Every single day brought new discoveries, valuable lessons, and a deeper appreciation for the Indonesian way of life. It was a journey that went far beyond expectations.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my stay was being able to experience Indonesian culture firsthand. I had the opportunity to wear traditional clothing, including the hijab, which gave me a deeper sense of cultural connection and respect. These small but significant experiences allowed me to step into the traditions of the people around me. I also had the chance to explore and enjoy a wide range of local dishes—each one rich in flavor and history, from popular street foods to traditional home-cooked meals.

Beyond culture and cuisine, what left the greatest impression on me was the warmth and hospitality of the Indonesian people. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed with kindness, treated with respect, and often cared for like family.
