DAVAO DEL SUR STATE COLLEGE (DSSC)

I am deeply honored to express my heartfelt gratitude to Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), Matti, Digos City, Davao del Sur, Philippines, for participating in this kind of program offered by SEAMEO and for giving me the chance to be part of this prestigious exchange student program between DSSC and Unissula, Indonesia.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the DSSC administration, especially our college president, Dr. Augie Fuentes, for allowing us to participate in this exchange program. I am also grateful to the Office of International Affairs (OIA), led by Dr. Ana Matalines, for their guidance and constant efforts in arranging the necessary paperwork and maintaining communication with our partner school.

A special thank you goes to our department, the Institute of Teacher Education (ITED), for initiating our participation in the 10th batch of the exchange student program. I also want to express my gratitude to our ITED Dean, Dr. Cindy B. Rosil, for signing our papers and ensuring everything was in order. Thanks to our department chairperson, Dr. Meliza P. Alo, for her continuous support throughout this program.

I am particularly thankful to our mentor, Ms. Mary Lisley Jane Reyes Layson, the internship teacher at DSSC, for always updating us, handling all the necessary documents, and being there for us every step of the way—from the very beginning until the end of the program.

To Sir Eumar Agbon, the internship coordinator, thank you for overseeing our needs, especially in resolving issues like the plane ticket errors. Your help was invaluable.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to all the teachers and staff of ITED for their unwavering support throughout this journey. To our friends at DSSC, thank you for your constant prayers and encouragement until the completion of the program. Your prayers, guidance, and support were a great source of strength during my exchange student journey.

This opportunity has broadened my understanding and horizons as a future teacher, not only at the national level but also in the international aspects of education. It has allowed me to appreciate the culture, educational curriculum, and the beauty of Indonesia, particularly in the city of Semarang. Without the trust and encouragement from all of you, this wonderful and meaningful experience would not have been possible.
